Board signs warrants, approves driveway permit and tasks clerk with administrative follow-ups

The Board of Assessors handled routine permit and administrative business during its Sept. 2 meeting, signing warrants, approving a driveway permit and assigning several follow-up tasks to the clerk.
Warrant 10 had been signed during the off week; Warrants 11, 12 and 13 were reviewed and signed at the meeting. The minutes do not record dollar amounts or roll-call votes for the warrants.
A driveway entrance permit request from David Stein was reviewed and approved. The minutes name the applicant but do not list conditions or a permit number.
The clerk reported on corrective actions following a state inspection of the transfer station, saying most items are complete and a few require minimal additional steps. Trio staff will work with the Plantation in September to complete software updates for financial management and cash receipting.
The clerk informed the board she will undertake an extensive update of the registered voter file after identifying an outstanding upload of voter registration cards. The clerk was also authorized to proceed with a website ADA compliance audit.
The meeting minutes note that the Rangeley Lakes Builder Supply approved users list needs updating and that annual snow removal service contracts will be issued to Burgess and Dallas Plantation; contract terms were not recorded. The board adjourned at 4:40 PM.
