Plainview board approves consent agenda; general fund at $1.22 million

Chance Anderson moved to approve the consent items and Justin D. Doerr seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The board’s financial report listed a general fund balance of $1,223,909.20 (compared with $1,233,526.09 the prior month), certificates of deposit totaling $1,000,000.00, a Special Building Fund balance of $103,286.68 and total assets of $2,513,229.01. April receipts totaled $545,448.69 and disbursements totaled $555,065.58, including $421,831.40 for payroll. Building fund receipts were $32,584.33 and building fund expenditures $15,340.23; claims to the general fund totaled $137,303.48.
Board members recorded no objections to the consent items. The financial figures were entered into the minutes and the board will continue budget work in scheduled 2026–27 budget workshop sessions.
