During its Oct. 14 meeting the Bearden School Board reviewed two bids for a 61-inch zero-turn lawnmower. The low bidder, Gary Smith Sales Inc. of Fordyce, Ark., submitted $9,618.30; Mitchell Lumber Co. submitted $9,627.00.
Vice President Joannie Cayce moved to accept the Gary Smith Sales Inc. bid; Tony Harcrow seconded the motion. The board approved the purchase unanimously.
