The Bearden School Board met Oct. 14 in the district cafeteria and unanimously approved routine governance items, including the September minutes, the financial statement and current bills and the Cycle 2 Equity Compliance Report.
Joannie Cayce moved to approve the financial statement and current bills; Tony Harcrow seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Earlier, Tony Harcrow moved to approve the September minutes with Ken Juniel seconding; that motion also passed unanimously.
The board approved a transfer of $23,956 from operating to the legal balance reduction fund following direction from ADE Finance. Joannie Cayce made the motion to approve the transfer; Ken Juniel seconded and the board voted to approve it unanimously.
Superintendent Denny Rozenberg presented the Cycle 1 Annual Financial Legal Balance Report and Special Program updates; Tony Harcrow moved to accept the report and Ken Juniel seconded. The board approved the report without dissent.
The meeting ended after board reminders about upcoming training and school events.
