The Exeter Township School Board voted June 16 to renew two senior administrative contracts.
On a roll-call vote, the board approved a five-year contract for Dr. Christy M. Hower as district superintendent covering July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031. Mr. Joseph Cook presented the personnel committee’s recommendation and the board’s roll call recorded the motion as carried by the members present. After the vote, Dr. Hower thanked the board and said she is a resident and parent in the district and honored to continue serving in the role.
The board also approved a one-year contract for Diane Scornovaki to serve as director of human resources from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with salary and benefits to be set in the contract. That motion passed on a roll-call vote with six members voting yes and three absent.
Both contract renewals were presented as recommended personnel actions; board members offered congratulations and the administration recorded the motions for the minutes. The personnel committee indicated these renewals were part of the district’s annual personnel planning.
Next steps: the administration will finalize contract documents, and the business office will reflect contractual terms in the district’s payroll and budget records.
