River Ridge CDD adopts FY 2024–25 budget and approves special assessments

The River Ridge Community Development District adopted its fiscal year 2024–25 budget and approved a companion special-assessments resolution at its Aug. 27 meeting.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the Board the budget included scrivener errors and that staff had corrected the "Street sweeping" description before the public hearing. The Board opened and closed the required public hearing with no members of the public speaking and then adopted Resolution 2024-07 "as amended," on a motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal that was seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly and approved "with all in favor."
District Counsel Tony Pires then recommended opening a public hearing on Resolution 2024-08, which makes a determination of benefit and imposes special assessments for FY 2024–25. The hearing drew no public speakers; the Board approved edits deleting references to "Exhibit B" and adopted Resolution 2024-08 as amended, again voting "with all in favor."
Both votes were unanimous among the supervisors present (Mountford, Blumenthal, Twombly and Chair Bob Schultz, who participated remotely). The Board also noted staff would continue post-adoption housekeeping and that the adopted documents authorize routine budget amendments where needed.
The Board’s action completes the district’s statutory adoption steps for the coming fiscal year; staff will post the adopted budgets and assessment roll as required.
