Attorney Timothy J. Flynn told the Holly Hills board on Oct. 16 that Denver Water will raise its 2025 service charge for Single Family Residential Equivalent customers (3/4-inch taps) from $18.40 to $19.06 per month and increase the volumetric charge by 4.9%.
The report was presented as an informational legal matter; the Board did not vote on or alter district rates at the meeting. Board members and staff were informed of the changes to account for water-cost pass-throughs or budget assumptions in the District's 2025 draft budget.
No board action was taken during the meeting; staff and the District's financial advisor will incorporate the Denver Water changes into ongoing budget work as appropriate.
