The contract allows the county to provide and maintain a motor vehicle for the deputy's use with CAO approval, and the employee will receive benefits in accordance with the county's management resolution.
The item was presented as a routine hiring action after the county counsel's office completed recruitment; the recommended motion passed unanimously (5–0) with no public opposition recorded.
Supervisor Rosier expressed enthusiasm for bringing the office to full staffing and said the new hire will be formally introduced at a future meeting. There were no amendments to the contract reported on the floor.
