The council unanimously suspended the rules and adopted the ordinance. The roll call recorded Councilor Tom Wolfe as abstaining on the adoption; the motion otherwise carried 6-0-1.
Transcript remarks state the loan was signed in April 2023 "by Mayor Peterson." The meeting record also shows Mayor Linda Goodman present at this Aug. 26 meeting.
