At its June 23 meeting the Carrabassett Valley Select Board recorded the following formal actions and votes.
- Approval of minutes (June 2): Lloyd Cuttler moved to approve the minutes with an amendment to correct Cuttler’s last name; motion seconded by Roddy Ehrlenbach and passed unanimously (5–0).
- CVPL Begin Room fee increase: Jay Reynolds moved to double the CVPL Begin Room fee from $20 to $40 per hour, capped at $200 for up to eight hours; seconded by Roddy Ehrlenbach; passed unanimously (5–0).
- Release of Town Office RFP: Jay Reynolds moved to release the RFP for the Town Office rehab immediately; seconded by Lloyd Cuttler; passed unanimously (5–0).
- Approval to stock brook trout at Outdoor Center pond (‘Moose Bog’): Lloyd Cuttler moved to approve $925 to restock the pond (cost to be shared with CVOA; $700 for fish and $225 for transport); seconded by Jay Reynolds; passed unanimously (5–0).
- Shelter 100% of TIF value: Jay Reynolds moved to shelter 100% of the value of the TIF district; seconded by Lloyd Cuttler; passed unanimously (5–0). Assessor Mike Rogers reported the anticipated new property tax revenue from within the district as $69,052.50 and said figures were preliminary.
- Executive session to review applications for a part-time front office assistant: Jay Reynolds moved at approximately 5:25 p.m. to enter executive session under 1 M.R.S.A. §405(6)(A)(1); Lloyd Cuttler seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The Board exited executive session at 5:55 p.m.; no votes were taken in executive session.
- Adjournment: Roddy Ehrlenbach moved to adjourn at 5:56 p.m.; Lloyd Cuttler seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
