Other financial actions approved included a $1,700.00 annual membership in the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce (motion by Tony Harcrow, seconded by Ken Juniel) and an electronic transfer of $85,927.14 to the Treasurer of State of Arkansas for the district’s property insurance, along with authorization for ongoing electronic transfers for federal tax payments and teacher retirement payments for the 2025–2026 school year (motion by Joannie Cayce, seconded by Tony Harcrow). The board also approved school insurance coverage for Superintendent Denny Rozenberg during the timeframe of an ethics complaint (motion by Joannie Cayce, seconded by Tony Harcrow); that insurance vote was recorded as unanimous.
