Pickens County tax appraiser urges cooperation with Jasper, opposes closing Railroad Street

Lloyd Fasselt, a neighbor of applicant Bill Roland, spoke in favor of the rezone approved earlier in the meeting. Chairman Kris Stancil later reiterated the county's interest in working with the city and addressed airport-access questions raised in local media.
The board did not take a formal vote on Dobbs' comments; his remarks were recorded in the minutes as part of guest comments and forwarded to relevant departments for follow-up.
