DeWitt Planning Commission unanimously approves 2023 Annual Report and Six-Year Capital Improvement Plan

Commissioner Patterson moved to approve the meeting agenda; Commissioner VanDyke seconded, and the motion carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner Patterson then moved to approve the minutes of the January 25, 2024 regular meeting; Commissioner Lee seconded and the motion carried by unanimous vote.
On substantive business, the commission reviewed and approved the 2023 Annual Planning Commission Report. Commissioner Patterson moved to approve the annual report and forward it to City Council; Commissioner VanDyke seconded and the motion carried by unanimous vote.
The commission also reviewed the Six-Year Capital Improvement Plan for FY23–29. City Administrator Daniel Coss clarified commissioners’ questions about the plan during the review. Commissioner Patterson moved to approve the Six-Year Capital Improvement Plan and forward approval of the plan to the Mayor and City Council; Commissioner Lee seconded and the motion carried by unanimous vote.
The meeting closed after member comments (none were offered) and a motion to adjourn by Commissioner VanDyke, seconded by Commissioner Gackstetter; the body adjourned at 8:11 p.m.
