DeWitt Planning Commission elects Ware as chair; Rondeau vice-chair, Patterson secretary

At its Jan. 25 meeting the DeWitt Planning Commission approved nominations for officers: Ware as chair, Rondeau as vice-chair and Patterson as secretary. The motion passed unanimously; the commission also reviewed zoning language on parking and mixed-use buildings later in the meeting.
The DeWitt Planning Commission on Jan. 25 approved its officer nominations, elevating Commissioner Ware to chair, Commissioner Rondeau to vice-chair and Commissioner Patterson to secretary.
The action came on a motion by Commissioner Patterson, seconded by Commissioner VanDyke, to "approve the declared nominations for officers of the Planning Commission." The motion carried by unanimous vote of the commissioners present: Ware, Patterson, Lee, Rondeau and VanDyke.
The vote followed routine procedural business including approval of the meeting agenda and the minutes of the Aug. 24, 2023 regular meeting. City Administrator Daniel Coss and Clerk-Treasurer Sarah Stoltzfus were listed as staff; no members of the public were present.
The commission adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
