Roxbury selectmen approve routine business, move several funding requests to budget committee

Selectmen approved an abatement for $187.51 and a supplement payment for $1,165.12 (motion by Timothy Derouche; seconds and votes recorded 3-0). As part of the Budget 2024 closeout, the board moved $2,451.00 of interest into the Miscellaneous account (motion by Timothy Derouche, second Matthew Patneaude; vote 3-0).
On town infrastructure and project items, the board voted to proceed with the First Beach wall project and tasked Selectman Timothy Derouche with contacting the contractor to determine whether the work can be scheduled for the spring (motion by Timothy Derouche, second Matthew Patneaude; vote 3-0). The board also moved a dock quote forward to the budget committee for review (motion by Timothy Derouche, second Ray Hodsdon; vote 3-0).
Selectmen recorded that tax foreclosures listed in the minutes were paid. The warrant for Jan. 14 in the amount of $20,701.33 was approved and signed (motion by Timothy Derouche, second Matthew Patneaude; vote 3-0). The meeting adjourned at 7:54 p.m.
