At the June 2 meeting Malia Collins, a town staff member, reported a mid-term vacancy on the Bluff Planning and Zoning Commission after Commissioner McLennan relocated for work and no longer meets the residency requirement.
Collins said the vacancy runs through Dec. 31, 2026, and invited residents to submit letters of interest to planningzoning@townofbluffutah.gov by 6 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026. Interviews will be conducted on Thursday, June 18 during the Planning and Zoning work session at 6 p.m.
Collins also encouraged interested residents to "try out" the role for the six-month term and provided the contact information for questions. The council took no formal vote on the appointment at this meeting; the process will proceed as outlined by staff.
