Assistant Administrator Soderholm told the board that staff is working on the packet‑release discussion and that video recording of meetings would need to be researched before it could be placed on a future agenda. Trustee David Joseph suggested the village could purchase a 1 TB hard drive to store recordings and raised concerns about the building inspector and the need for hiring an HR professional; Trustee Devin Hester recommended raising new suggestions during the proper agenda item, “Other Business.”
No formal action on meeting recordings, agenda timing or an audit of the demolition was taken at the June 2 meeting. Board members and staff indicated follow‑up work would be required before any policy change or recording plan could be implemented.
