Mendota council directs staff to apply for Wonderful Community Grant for Pool Park amenities

Council discussion touched on possible coordination with the Mendota Community Corporation, which may pursue its own application.
Council Member Jesus "Jesse" Mendoza moved to direct staff to submit a City application for those Pool Park amenities; Council Member Libertad "Liberty" Lopez seconded. The motion passed unanimously (4 ayes, absent: Riofrio). Staff was directed to prepare the application and return with updates on status and any implementation requirements.
The action is recorded as direction to staff to pursue grant funding; no funding was committed by vote beyond staff time and subsequent implementation actions pending grant award.
