City Manager Gonzalez presented the staff report. During the public comment period, Alex Garcia thanked Public Works for landscaping at La Colonia Park, requested additional police patrols in the park because of increased public drinking, and asked the city to consider installing a playground after surveying La Colonia residents. Council also discussed coordinating with the Federal Correctional Institution — Mendota to assist with citywide trash clean-up.
Council Member Joseph R. Riofrio moved to adopt Resolution No. 25-45; Mayor Pro Tem Jose Alonso seconded. The motion passed unanimously (5 ayes).
