On a land‑use item, the board approved a license allowing Andrew Quattrail to raise his existing 3-foot-by-12-foot permanent pier by one foot to address surge concerns. The chair said the planning board reviewed the shoreland portion after an on-site visit and recommended approval; the select board seconded that recommendation and voted in favor.
The board then approved a batch of 13 tax abatements amounting to $37.13, which the chair explained resulted from a computer error that applied the wrong unit price. The motion named the affected taxpayers and the board voted to sign the abatements so refunds can be issued.
The board also set March meeting dates (March 9 and March 23) and noted that RSU 12 will present its annual update at a future meeting. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that passed by voice vote.
Next steps: the town will sign the approved abatements and issue refunds; the ramp license will be documented with the town clerk; and RSU 12’s presentation will be scheduled publicly.
