Norwich trustees approve capital purchases, nuisance resolution and 2025 appropriations

Vice Chairman Rick Tidd moved, and Trustee Sonny Cantrell seconded, approval of multiple motions that were carried unanimously. The approvals recorded in the minutes include: Accent Draperies window coverings for $4,997 (Motion #250701.04); payment to ESIS, Inc. of $1,881.79 related to an auto accident involving Ladder 81 on Dec. 25, 2024 (Motion #250701.05); removal of two trees from the Safety Services Building rear parking lot for $700 (Motion #250701.06); purchase of two floor cleaners through Imperial Dade for $5,243.90 (Motion #250701.07); and purchase of six powered tables from Dreamseats for $4,947.36 (Motion #250701.08).
The minutes also record that Road Superintendent and Cemetery Sexton Robbie Thomas reported a 2008 dump truck sold on GovDeals for $13,000. Township Administrator Jamie Fisher presented a resolution declaring that grass conditions at 4290 Hansen Dr. constituted a nuisance; the board approved the resolution (Motion #250701.09). Trustees approved rescinding two prior motions related to a Cosgray Road parcel annexed to the City of Hilliard (Motions #250701.10 and #250701.11) and approved the 2025 permanent appropriations (Motion #250701.14).
