Resident presses council on speeding; officials say ODOT study criteria make US 23 study unlikely

Council Members Ken Everts and Amber Murphy said they believe the ODOT criteria make it unlikely the village would meet the threshold needed for changes and that paying for a study could be an inefficient use of village funds.
No formal motion to commission a traffic study or to allocate funds for one was passed during the meeting. The council did not set a follow-up date or direct staff to pursue a study at public expense.
