Finance committee approves April financial reports, recommends Parks & Recreation reappointments

The Upper Moreland Township Finance & Administrative Committee unanimously approved the April 2026 Director of Finance, Tax Enforcement Officers and Investment Activity reports, and approved the April 20, 2026 meeting minutes as submitted, the committee record shows.

The committee also reviewed and unanimously approved the April revenue and expense summaries. The approvals were recorded without individual roll-call votes in the transcript; the meeting record states the committee acted unanimously.

Under personnel business, the committee recommended that the Board of Commissioners approve three reappointments to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Council at the June 1, 2026 regular meeting: Diane DeBalko, Michael Chauveau and Jillian Cindi Lockton, each to a two-year term expiring May 5, 2028. The committee also noted multiple vacancies to be filled by the Board of Commissioners, including a Ward 1 vacancy on the Advisory Planning Agency (term to June 1, 2027), several vacancies on the Historical Commission with remaining terms through 2026 and 2028, two vacancies on the Human Relations Commission, a Ward 3 vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Council (term to May 5, 2027), a Structural Engineer vacancy on the Uniform Construction Code Local Appeals Board (term to Aug. 5, 2027), and a Commissioner vacancy on the Police Pension Fund Committee (term to Dec. 31, 2027).
