Oconee County says five new ambulances have arrived and will be put into service

At the town hall a county staff member reported that Oconee County has received all five ambulances it purchased and that the vehicles are undergoing branding and equipment installs ahead of deployment.
"We've received all five ambulances that we purchased. They're on site now. They're going through branding and equipment and should be here next week and be uploaded ready to go," the staff member said. County staff have met with both hospitals to coordinate a changeover schedule; officials said they expect additional timing details within roughly 60 days.
The update did not include staffing or per‑unit cost details; county staff said those operational items are being worked out and will be announced when finalized.
