“These are annual routine items to support the 2026 Frase Pavilion season,” City Manager Mr. Greon said, describing the lighting and sound procurements as necessary to support concerts and events. On the police vehicle amendment he said the switch does not add a new asset or increase the overall budget.
Council also renewed a contract with South Community Inc. to provide an embedded crisis‑intervention worker for the Kettering Police Department. The contract amount appears in the transcript as $64,35520; staff described the arrangement as a renewal for 2026 and characterized the service as valuable for both officers and residents. “This is one of the top programs I’ve ever seen,” a contracted representative told council.
A landscaping and property‑maintenance contract for various municipal properties, budgeted at $27,000, won approval; Planning and Development staff said contractors would be dispatched to bring neglected private properties into compliance after owners fail to respond to notice and that costs would be billed to property owners.
