Kettering council approves multiple 2026 contracts, grants and capital purchases; details at a glance

- Grants and donations: Council accepted a $13,385 Delmarre Health Care Fund grant (Dayton Foundation / MVRPC) to fund a new senior softball league; accepted an Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation safety intervention grant (award $40,000 with city match and budgeted funds leading to total city outlay of $24,966) to purchase a powered stair chair for moving patients, and accepted a donor-funded public safety drone (estimated $22,799) via the Kettering Police Foundation.
