Village Administrator Korie Dickson praised organizer Angie Murphy-Watts for festival work and for fundraising to support community events. "Hats off to Ms. Murphy-Watts; she has gone above and beyond for the upcoming festival and parade," VA Korie Dickson said.
Trustee David R. Dyson raised questions in open session about a proposed agreement with the South Suburban Land Bank and discussed which provisions would benefit or disadvantage the village. Mayor Bryant suggested inviting Mr. VanDyke from the South Suburban Land Bank back to a future meeting for further discussion.
