The Kenosha Stormwater Utility Commission on March 10 accepted multiple completed projects and approved an amendment to a sidewalk contract.
Staff reported that Project 21-1044 (21st Avenue resurfacing) has been satisfactorily completed. The commission accepted the work. The commission also accepted Project 21-1208 (sidewalk and curb/gutter program south) with a revised final contract amount of $231,597.16, and accepted Project 23-1021 (60th Street Reconstruction Phase 6) with a final contract amount of $1,942,091.65.
A committee member moved to amend item 7 (the sidewalk item); the clerk seconded the amendment. The amendment carried by voice vote and the commission then voted to approve items 6, 7 and 8. During discussion the chair noted the revised sidewalk figure was "about a $100,000 less" than a previously presented figure.
The meeting transcript records the acceptance and amendment votes as voice votes; no roll-call tallies were provided. The commission did not record public comment on these items at the meeting.
