Bull Shoals adopts golf-cart ordinance and advances zoning amendment; routine motions pass

The Bull Shoals City Council adopted Ordinance 2026-03 on third reading at its March 26 meeting, allowing regulated use of golf carts on city streets subject to permit requirements and stated restrictions. Councilman Bolen moved the ordinance, Councilman Webb seconded, and the motion passed 6-0. Council discussion noted enforcement limitations on state highways.
Council also advanced Ordinance 2026-04, a zoning code amendment, on its second reading after a motion by Councilman Meinking and second by Councilman Webb; that vote passed 6-0 and further readings are expected.
