At its Feb. 11 meeting the Clarks Village Board of Trustees approved a routine consent agenda and several administrative and procurement items.
The consent agenda — approved on a Parsons motion seconded by Langley — included approval of the Jan. 14 meeting minutes, a $1,500 transfer from Sales Tax to the NPAIT Water Resin Reserve Fund, payroll of $12,267.41 and vendor warrants listed in the minutes. Later in the meeting the board approved creating a dedicated fund at NPAIT to save for the yearly insurance payment and authorized monthly transfers of $5,000 into that fund (motion Langley, second Parsons; 3-0).
For operations and maintenance the board approved purchasing a broadcast spreader (Model SS2036B) for the Street Department through Akrs Equipment and accepted a quote to repair sections of brick streets for a total not to exceed $10,000 to be performed by Library and Maintenance shop staff. The board also announced that bids for cemetery mowing and mosquito spraying for the 2026 season will be accepted until noon March 4, 2026. The board discussed marking the path of the Lincoln Highway and approved a motion to check with the Lions Club for an existing stencil or otherwise order one.
The minutes list individual payroll and warrant amounts and named vendors; the motions carried by roll-call votes of 3-0 throughout the meeting with two trustees absent.
