Enon council approves minutes and financial report; recognizes Greenon High School successes

The Village of Enon council approved the minutes of its Oct. 28, 2025 meeting and accepted the October financial reports during the regular meeting on Nov. 10, 2025.
Council member Whitacre moved and Council member Leist seconded a motion to approve the Oct. 28 minutes; the recorded roll call lists votes of "Yes" from Leist, Sweet, Beair, Whitacre, Davoli and Hanna and the motion passed. Fiscal Officer Robert Storm presented the October financial report; Council member Sweet moved and Council member Leist seconded a motion to approve the October financial reports and bank reconciliation. During communications the council recorded local school achievements: the Greenon High School marching band earned a Superior rating at the State OMEA competition and will participate in the Bands of America competition; the Greenon competition cheer team finished first in the OHC; student Ruby Clark qualified for the state finals in cross country. The minutes also note a joint meeting between village and school district leadership and remind residents that Veterans' Day is the following day.
