Kitsap Planning Commission chair to resign at end of term

Joe Phillips, chair of the Kitsap County Planning Commission, announced at the end of the Oct. 15 meeting that he will resign at the end of his term later in 2024. The announcement came during the "For the Good of the Order" portion of the agenda, after commissioners recognized Clerk Amanda Walston's service to the commission.
The meeting adjourned by unanimous consent at 7:23 p.m. The commission did not take further action in response to the resignation announcement during the Oct. 15 session.
