Clarks — The Clarks Village Board voted unanimously on Sept. 10 to adopt two ordinances: No. 756, which amends the occupation tax for retailers of alcoholic beverages, and No. 757, which sets wages and salaries for village officers and employees for the year beginning Oct. 1, 2025.
Trustee Dyrek Zoucha moved to suspend the three‑reading rule for Ordinance No. 756 and Trustee James Parsons seconded; the board then adopted Ordinance No. 756 by roll-call vote. The board followed the same procedure to suspend the three‑reading rule and adopt Ordinance No. 757, the annual wages and salaries ordinance.
Both ordinances include standard publication language directing that the ordinances be published in pamphlet form. The minutes record no amendments or dissenting votes during either motion; both measures carried 3-0.
The ordinances were adopted during the Sept. 10 meeting with motions and roll-call votes recorded in the minutes. The clerk’s office will handle publication and any formal steps required after adoption.
