The minutes list claims including (as stated): Maguire Iron $47,029.00; DWEE $26,739.93; Municipal Supply $1,041.43; Midwest Laboratories $765.00; Municipal Supply invoice and other water-related charges among a longer claims list.
On maintenance, the minutes record that Herk’s Welding completed welding on the pool sand filter tank and that leak testing would wait until spring when the pool is refilled; in the later maintenance report the minutes state the sand filter was fixed. Maintenance also reported dump-truck repairs and that lift-station alarms were addressed after the electric/cooperative (PCRPPD) fixed a connection. Ongoing work listed includes meter replacements and concrete work at a curb stop in the LSC area.
Why it matters: the claims and repairs affect the village’s water-system reliability and near-term spending. The board approved a small transfer to a water-resin reserve fund intended to support equipment or material needs for the water system. The minutes do not provide budget lines or long-term funding sources for all invoices, nor do they state whether any of the expenditures require additional board action beyond claim approval.
