Facilities Director John Butrymovich told the commission that when town crews were not plowing snow in February they cleared brush and tree limbs from trail areas in anticipation of walkers and cross‑country runners; larger limbs and trunks remain to be removed when the ground is firmer and heavy equipment can access the trails.
Vice Chair Beth Harney reported account balances for the commission's funds: the Heritage Farm Fund (HFF) held $42,713.54 and the Rosie fund at People's Bank held $4,034.04. No additional fundraising actions or allocations were recorded at the March 1 meeting.
