Lee County staff report continued Tyler Technologies data-conversion work; state's attorney announces new assistant

County staff told the Lee County Public Safety meeting that the county's work with vendor Tyler Technologies remains active and will continue to require substantial staff attention.
A county staff member leading the project said business-process review and data conversion "are going to continue on pretty heavy for the next six, eight months." The Probation and Court Services representative said the office is working with Tyler and the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts to integrate a risk-assessment tool and expects the tool to be ready for use within about two weeks. "Customer service with Tyler Technology has been fantastic," the representative said.
A representative of the State's Attorney's Office said the prosecutor's office has also been involved in the Tyler conversion and that the data lift has been heavier than initially expected. The office introduced a new assistant state's attorney, Seth Balling, who joined the office June 1 from Stevenson County. The state's attorney's representative said the office remains one ASA short of its authorized complement.
The State's Attorney's Office provided collections figures: $12,525.78 for May and $53,721.36 year-to-date. The representative said an Excel collections report prepared by Patty Rolfy will be shared with the board through Becky.
No firm new timelines beyond the near-term integration of the risk-assessment tool were given; staff said they will continue business-process work and coordinate follow-up with the committee.
