Troy council adopts contract authorization, banking-deposit estimate and ODOT resurfacing consent; Cliff Oak plat approved

The body also adopted Resolution R35, estimating the aggregate maximum amount of public funds that may be awarded as deposits and authorizing the city auditor to solicit bids, a step required under state depository rules that recur every five years.
On transportation, council adopted Resolution R36, a final consent and cooperation agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for resurfacing Experiment Farm Road from the north corporate limit to West Main Street (State Route 41). The resolution declares an emergency and authorizes payment of the city’s project share; the resolution text lists the city’s current estimated share at $189,388.80.
Council also approved Ordinance 028 to accept the final plat for The Reserves at Cliff Oak subdivision Phase 3 and dedicate right-of-way, following a recommendation from the Troy Planning Commission.
