Lake Mac reports $25 million in new construction; valuation notices to mail June 2

Hill said approximately 700 rural parcels were reviewed and that assessment tables produced no major changes for most properties. He reported about $25 million in new construction during the assessment period, primarily attributable to work by Blackshirt Feeders.
Notices of valuation changes are scheduled to be mailed by June 2, 2026. Lake Mac Assessments will be available to assist property owners who wish to file valuation protests. Hill said next year’s focus will shift to commercial properties.
No board action was required; the briefing was informational and part of the public comment segment of the meeting.
