Josephine County board approves legal invoice payment and reappoints planning commissioner; two resolutions tabled

Commissioners acknowledged the obligation and Commissioner Gary Richardson moved to approve payment; Commissioner Colene Martin seconded and the motion passed on roll-call 3-0.
On board business, two resolutions were tabled: Resolution No. 2026-009 concerning tobacco retail enforcement and Resolution No. 2026-010 concerning termination of the Budget Committee. Resolution No. 2026-011, concerning appointments to the Budget Committee, was approved without objection.
Commissioner Richardson moved to reappoint Jeffrey A. Mundell to the Josephine County Rural Planning Commission; Commissioner Martin seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
The Board took no final public action on the two tabled resolutions; they will be considered at a future meeting if reintroduced.
