Kossuth County records transfers, approves equipment purchases and claims totaling $19,513.89

During its June 9, 2026 meeting the Kossuth County Board of Supervisors acknowledged several fund transfers and approved a series of purchases and repair payments. The board recorded transfers to Secondary Road of $2,708.52 (from General Basic) and $18,298.70 (from Rural Basic), both made June 2, 2026, and acknowledged a separate transfer of $500,000 from Rural Basic to Secondary Road identified as Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) money.
The board also approved a $7,348.90 ambulance repair at Nates Auto and Truck Repair in Bancroft, and authorized purchase of a Lucas device from Stryker for $16,879.11 and the upfit of a 2026 Chevy Tahoe as an emergency response vehicle from Main Street Specialties for $21,343. These equipment and repair motions carried unanimously. The board approved a Solutions Support/License Agreement for FY 2026–2027 and a cigarette permit for Spring Valley Golf Course.
The minutes include a claims list and record a grand total of $19,513.89 for the listed expenditures. The board approved the election claims and other listed claims and then adjourned at 11:40 a.m.
