Park County staff say MT4 grant will sustain Violence Against Women advocate position

"NBCC provides 75% of the budget, and we provide the 25%. 17,000 of that is really health insurance for Caitlin," the presenter said, explaining that some county costs are covered by in-kind values such as office space and communications.
Commissioner Vermaud and the chair voiced support for preserving the position. No public opposition was recorded at the meeting. The briefing noted that the state awarded fewer grants this year, and the county received full funding for its request.
The commission did not record a separate formal vote in the transcript on this briefing; staff noted the county's share is largely managed through existing budget lines and in-kind contributions.
