The Saline County Board of Equalization voted unanimously June 9 to approve a vehicle tax-exemption application filed by Friend Christian Assembly, the board announced at a meeting in the Saline County Courthouse.
Chairperson Stephanie A. Krivohlavek called the meeting to order at 9:15 a.m. and noted that notice of the meeting had been published June 3 in compliance with the Open Meetings Act. After approving the agenda and the minutes of the May 26 meeting, the board took up a report of damaged real property and change-of-valuation notices, voting to approve both items.
During a public hearing opened by Commissioner Ray Rohrig and seconded by Commissioner Brian Pribyl, County Treasurer Hollie Zurcher presented the vehicle exemption application for Friend Christian Assembly. Following the presentation, Commissioners voted to close the hearing and approved the exemption; motions were moved and seconded by board members as recorded and carried on unanimous votes.
Other formal actions taken during the brief session included approval of Damaged Real Property Report 2026-01 DP for PBS Aircraft Co., Inc., and approval of 2026 Change of Valuation Notices. The meeting adjourned at 9:37 a.m.
