Mockups presented to the board retain much of the existing design, and staff noted the relocation could reduce site grading costs because work is already underway at the municipal complex.
Board members stressed that the relocation remains contingent on reaching fundraising thresholds before committing to move the memorial. Staff said they will forward fundraising and border updates to the board as they come in.
