Canal Winchester Landmarks Commission excused member, approved minutes and heard staffing and zoning updates

At the opening of the Feb. 23 Canal Winchester Landmarks Commission meeting, Secretary Rich Dobda moved, seconded by Chairman Pete Lynch, to excuse Whit Wardell; the motion carried 5-0. The commission then approved the Jan. 26 meeting minutes on a motion by Patrick Lynch, seconded by Pete Lynch, also carried 5-0.
Staff told commissioners four applications have been filed for the commission’s seventh seat and the mayor is currently reviewing them; staff also provided an update on the city’s Zoning Code Update. Commissioner David Craycraft gave a brief update on an addition project at 44 W. Mound Street.
Roger White moved, seconded by Patrick Lynch, to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 p.m.; the motion carried 5-0.
