The Tremont Select Board spent part of its Oct. 6 meeting discussing planning steps for a possible public safety building and a pending land acquisition on Harbor Drive but recorded no formal motions or directives on either item.
Public Safety Building: Public Safety Building Chair Jim LaPrade and board members discussed next steps for the potential project. The meeting minutes record discussion of the building project but show no motions, votes or formal assignments to commit funding or move into design or construction phases.
Land acquisition — Harbor Drive: The board discussed a land acquisition currently under contract for 31 and 37 Harbor Drive. Town Manager Jesse Dunbar participated in the discussion; no motions were made and no contract approvals were recorded in the minutes.
