County approves $9,030 courthouse camera upgrade, re‑advertises Savanna fire truck lift kit; tables bids and schedules surplus sales

County staff member Sandra Crenshaw explained the need for the additional cameras during the meeting; the Digi Security Systems quote provided in the record totals $9,030.46, covering cameras, licensing and installation. Rogers made the motion to approve the quote; Selman seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The board also approved an "Amended" Resolution 26‑277 to re‑advertise for bids to supply a rear lift kit and hydraulic suspension upgrade for a 2026 Ford F‑550 wet rescue fire truck for the Savanna Fire Department. The resolution corrects the model year and sets bid submission and opening dates; Ross Selman moved to approve the resolution and Mike Haynes seconded.
Multiple surplus declarations were adopted and set for sale by sealed bid, including a 2000 Ford F‑350 and a Kubota UTV from the Tannehill Fire Department, a John Deere mower from the Arrowhead Fire Department, and several Microsoft Surface Pro tablets from the Assessor's inventory that the county plans to trade in for new units. The resolutions set advertising and bid deadlines and reserve the county’s right to reject bids.
The board opened bids for vehicles (Bid No. 20: 2005 Chevrolet 1500 — Austin Burge bid $5,300; Bid No. 21: 1993 AM General M35A3 — Oklahoma Rural Fire bid $6,625.25) and accepted the bids as opened but tabled them for later review.
These items were handled as ordinary business on the agenda; the meeting minutes record motions, seconders and unanimous votes but no extended public debate on the procurement items.
