Parks and Recreation Director Alina Hibbs described two fee proposals: a lower-cost two-day-per-week swim-team option intended to be more affordable than the existing three-day program, and a set of adjustments to cemetery pricing (infant lots, cremation garden lots, alcove niches in the mausoleum) reflecting fewer available plots and higher operations and maintenance costs. Staff noted some mausoleum sections were sold out and only interior alcove niches remain available; the fee schedule shows struck-through entries for sold-out line items and updated prices for alcove niche levels.
City staff (Chris) noted the fee resolution also incorporates an automatic April 1 CPI adjustment for the school impact fee; the 3.1% adjustment was already implemented April 1 to align paperwork with permits. The council voted to approve Resolution 1879.
