The Tremont Select Board unanimously voted March 16 to certify and sign four amendments to the Town’s Land Use Ordinance and to request the Town Manager place each amendment on the May 2026 Annual Town Meeting warrant with a recommendation for passage.
The certified amendments are titled: Nonconformance; Corrections and Reorganization; Temporary Sales as an Accessory Use; and LD427. Each motion to certify and request warrant placement was made by Select Board member Kevin Buck and seconded by Select Board member McKenzie Jewett; all motions passed unanimously.
The Board did not take additional substantive action on the ordinance text during the meeting; certification sends the amendments to Town Meeting for voter consideration in May.
