Solicitor Gucker announced during the Jan. 5 meeting that the County Commissioners approved and recorded an annexation adding 6.837 acres to the Village of Carey; maps were referenced and distributed electronically.
In other business, Councilman Bill Conley raised concern about a plaque installed at the downtown gazebo honoring a former mayor, noting a lack of communication on the placement. Roszman also noted ongoing work related to a potential cemetery acquisition and associated survey questions.
