The boards of four Casa Grande community facilities districts on the evening’s docket unanimously approved resolutions setting their fiscal year 2027 property tax rates and directing Pinal County to collect the estimated levies.
Staff member Brenda told the board the Copper Mountain Ranch Community Facilities District would adopt a property tax rate of $0.30 per $100 of net assessed value for a total levy of $2,596; the board adopted Resolution No. 107 by roll call vote. “Tonight, the board is being asked to adopt a resolution approving the Copper Mountain Ranch fiscal year 2027 property tax rate of 0.30 per $100 of net assessed value for a total levy of $2,596 for the district,” Brenda said.
For the Mission Royale Community Facilities District, Brenda presented a combined FY2027 rate of 1.0488 per $100 of net assessed value — including a rate not to exceed $0.30 for operations and 0.7488 for bonded indebtedness — producing an estimated levy of $500,470. The board adopted Resolution No. 85 by roll call. “The required notices have been published in the local newspaper and the required public hearing was held on June 1st, 2026,” Brenda said when summarizing the process.
The Post Ranch Community Facilities District approved a $0.30 per $100 operational rate for a total levy of $291 and adopted Resolution No. 64. Brenda noted the rate remains the same as in FY2026 and reminded the board that the public hearing occurred on June 1, 2026.
The Bulago/Volago Communities (listed in the meeting transcript as Volago/Lago) Community Facilities District approved a combined FY2027 rate of 1.0565 per $100, including up to $0.30 for operations and 0.7565 for debt service, with an estimated levy of $262,000; the board adopted Resolution No. 80 by roll call.
All four resolutions passed unanimously in the recorded roll calls. Board members voting yes across the various district votes included District members Dugan, Edwards, Huddleston (appearing also as Hodson/Hodson in one roll call), as well as the vice chairs and Chair Fitzgibbons. Each resolution directs Pinal County to collect the corresponding estimated tax levy and to adjust the levy if necessary.
The boards completed the community facilities district agenda items and adjourned those meetings before calling the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
